15A – Figuring Out Buyer Behavior No. 2 ENT3003 Chris Ward Report the findings and draw conclusions:             For this segment I interviewed three more neighbors. A local coffee shop will have the biggest impact on them not coworkers.   All three agreed that a coffee shop would be a great addition to the neighborhood.   There were varying opinions about the style though, should it be more like a Starbucks or more like a Dunkin Donuts.   For you coffee drinkers out there, you understand the differences.             In all three cases they would prefer to buy a coffee at a local coffee shop versus the alternative of making it at home.   The price would affect their purchase though, if it were more than a coffee at Starbucks or Dunkin, they may opt to make it at home.   One of my interviews brought up a good suggesti...

13A – Reading Reflection No. 1 ENT3003 Chris Ward 1) You read about an entrepreneur: The Wright Brothers by David McCullough ·        What surprised you the most? Of course, we all know the story of the Wright Brothers but what surprised me most was that fact that they didn’t do it alone.   They received very valuable help from their bike shop mechanic Charlie Taylor.   He built the engine for their flying machine when no other manufactures could.   Also, I’d like to say that all the trouble they had with patent filing and lawsuits was a surprise but that seems par for the course for anybody that tries to invent something so revolutionary. ·        What about the entrepreneur did you most admire?   I admire the Wright brother’s tenacity the most.   They had an idea and stuck with it for years.   Building their machine and shipping it to Kittyhawk year after year fo...

14A – Halfway Reflection ENT3003 Chris Ward 1)     Tenaciousness is a competency. What are the behaviors that you have used (or developed) to keep up with the requirements of this course? ·       Interviewing people is the skill I have developed most.   Prior to taking this course I have never conducted a formal interview.   Moving forward this a skill I will need to work on.   2)     Tenaciousness is also about attitude.  Talk about a moment or two when you felt like "giving up." What pulled you through? Do you feel like you've developed a tenacious attitude during the past two months? What experience or experiences most contributed to this? ·       During the elevator pitch assignment, I thought about giving up several times.   There is something about talking to the camera that makes me nervous and made completing the assignment difficult. ...
