28A – Your Exit Strategy

I tend to get bored with things rather quickly. The most likely exit from my business would be the sale of it. Probably after five to ten years of growing the business to multiple locations, I would sell it so I can use the profits to move on another idea I am sure to have.
Knowing that this is my exit strategy, many business decisions will be affected to ensure that the business remains attractive to potential buyers. I also don’t think I would get to emotionally invested in anything either, everything will be all business.
I appreciate your grasp on your own personality. In my opinion, this is a great way to know your limits and also your potential. You also understand that new ideas are "cooking" and waiting for your attention. This is a gift! And like Dr Pryor talks about, it is good planning to expect change, embrace and effect change as well.
